The onion is on its way
When the survey was taken, 70 % of the annual onion area was still in seedbeds: 109 hectares waiting to be transplanted. That supply reaches the market in spring — worth crossing with the price series for onion, which historically eases when the new season arrives.

The carrot is already committed
Two thirds of its annual area was already sown. The north plants early, between January and June, to arrive first. It is the primor pattern applied to a field crop.

Strawberries are growing
50.7 hectares planted, up from 47.9 in winter 2024. The increase comes from existing growers scaling up — the sign of a line that is working. Most of it is grown in macro-tunnels.

Under cover means tomato and pepper
Between them they hold more than half of the department's protected area. Tomato spreads its year — 71 ha planted and 53 to come — while pepper has already made nearly its whole bet (47 ha planted, under 2 intended).
